62' Custom Luxury Power Catamaran - Available for purchase

Design Brief

A new design for a Singapore based client who requires the utmost in luxury and comfort combined with an efficient long range vessel that is not tethered to the nearest fuel dock. He intends to cruise throughout South East Asia and the Pacific where customs clearance and the distance between facilities can make the ability to "country hop" a real necessity. The choice of an efficient displacement catamaran hull form makes this possible opening up new worlds to the powered cruiser.

There are three major open deck areas - the foredeck , the aft bridge deck and the aft main deck. These options afford the crew and guests a choice of private areas which can be so important to harmony on a long voyage.

The sleeping accommodation is in the hulls with three double staterooms and a twin berth guest cabin. The main salon offers spacious views and several living areas as well as enclosed access to the fly bridge. The bridge is fully enclosed and air-conditioned and is designed to accommodate professional crew if required. Special attention has been placed on cockpit drainage for the monsoonal conditions this vessel must operate in.

Construction is in Core-Cell (SAN)/E-glass with high density balsa core below the chine. Design is the DNV High Speed Light Craft. Building starts in March 2000 at Ramtech Boatbuilders (formerly Petford and Petersen) in Muwillumbah, NSW, Australia.
